In the waning days of November 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the late afternoon calm in a north St. Louis neighborhood, leaving a young man clinging to life. Twenty-two-year-old Antwon Mullen, a male, was discovered by officers around 3:37 p.m. on November 28th, suffering from a gunshot wound to his head in the 5900 block of Mimika Avenue. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, unable to provide investigators with any information about what had transpired.
