In the light of a spring afternoon in Birmingham, Alabama, tragedy befell 60-year-old Frank Jackson, a Black male, whose life was abruptly ended on May 5, 2025. Jackson was seated in his vehicle in an alley in the 300 block of 6th Avenue South when the fatal incident unfolded. He was discovered unresponsive, having sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency services rushed him to UAB Hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead shortly before 1:00 p.m.
