In the spring of 2025, the life of 27-year-old Letaris Demonds-Lapri Franklin was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of April 9th, residents of an apartment complex on 29th Avenue North reported the sound of gunshots, prompting a police response.
