In the early afternoon of a Wednesday in Augusta, Georgia, a fatal encounter unfolded outside the Richmond Summit apartments, abruptly ending the life of 41-year-old Quincy Clay Fields. On January 8, 2025, at approximately 3:23 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the air in the 700 block of Broad Street, prompting a response from the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
