Gregory Antonio Wells, a 38-year-old Black man, was killed late on the night of April 23, 2025, in Annapolis, Maryland, in the Robinwood community. Police were drawn toward the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue after officers in the area reported hearing gunshots just after 11:00 p.m., and they found Wells suffering from gunshot wounds. Annapolis firefighters and responding officers tried to keep him alive long enough to reach definitive care, but he later died at the hospital.
