In the early evening of March 9, 2025, the life of 25-year-old Tyshawn Simon, a Black male, was irrevocably altered on the 3200 block of Chelsea Terrace in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there, at approximately 6:25 p.m., that Simon was shot. For nearly two weeks, he fought for his life.
