On the evening of Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana, 15-year-old Tameron Willis was walking home, mindful of his 8 o'clock curfew. Tragically, he would never make it. At approximately 7:15 p.m., in the 200 block of Arthur Street, Tameron was struck by gunfire and died at the scene.
