On March 15, 2025, 14-year-old Braiden Anthony Ray Johnson, a white male from Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot in his home on Dana Avenue in the Franklinton neighborhood. The incident occurred around 1:22 a.m., prompting a 911 call. Upon arrival, Columbus police detained several individuals at the scene.
