In the late evening of September 10, 2025, a verbal dispute on Persimmon Street in Mobile, Alabama, escalated into a fatal encounter. Carlos Bogan, a 34-year-old Black male, was shot during the argument. When Mobile police officers arrived at the 1200 block of Persimmon Street at approximately 9:11 p.m., they discovered Bogan with a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
