In the late evening of September 2, 2025, the life of 35-year-old Patrick Cornelius Carter Jr. was tragically cut short in Center Point, Alabama, a community in Jefferson County. Just after 9:20 p.m., deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 2300 block of 2nd Place NE following a report of a person down. Upon their arrival, they discovered Carter suffering from a gunshot wound.
