In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 14, 2025, the life of 27-year-old Akera Harris, a female, was tragically cut short in Decatur, Alabama. Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of West Moulton Street at approximately 3:20 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Harris deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound.
