In the early hours of a Friday morning in Valley, Alabama, the life of 29-year-old Christopher Perry of Lafayette was cut short by gunfire. On May 23, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers from the Valley Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 3200 block of 19th Avenue following reports of a shooting.
