Freddy Gutierrez, 26, a male Latino, was shot late on the night of September 13, 2025, while driving through the 14600 block of Larch Avenue in Lawndale. Deputies were sent to an “illegal shooting, traffic collision” call around 11:26 p.m.; after being struck by gunfire, his vehicle continued northbound and crashed into the front yard of a nearby house by the Larch Townhomes. He was pronounced dead soon after midnight, with the medical examiner later formally recording the death on Sunday. T ...
