In the late evening hours of August 11, 2025, the life of 30-year-old Jonas Albright-Gillis, a male, was tragically cut short on Englewood Avenue SE in Atlanta, Georgia. Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:51 p.m., where they discovered him with at least one gunshot wound. The shooting occurred near a small business corridor, close to an apartment complex and a tool-rental shop. Despite the arrival of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
