In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the life of 16-year-old Jaykavion Gary of Valdosta, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On July 5, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to a call of a shooting in the 1900 block of Baytree Place in Remerton.
