In the late hours of a Thursday night in Macon, Georgia, a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion, ending the life of 21-year-old Couri Woodford Jr. on June 27, 2025. Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence in the 3300 block of Majestic Lane around 11 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Woodford suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner.
