A late-night car crash in Macon, Georgia, on January 6, 2023, led to the discovery of a homicide. Responding to a call just after 8:30 p.m. regarding a vehicle collision in the 2800 block of Broadway, Bibb County sheriff's deputies arrived to find a car that had struck a pole and a parked truck. Inside the vehicle was 26-year-old Monqencio Deshawn Johnson, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
