On the night of July 4, 2025, a dispute in the 3500 block of Esther Place in Southeast Baltimore turned deadly, resulting in the shooting death of 38-year-old Aaron Hill. A Black male, Hill was found by police officers who responded to calls of gunfire at approximately 11:51 p.m. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
