On the night of Thursday, July 17, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of an Alexandria, Louisiana neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. The victim was identified as 28-year-old Antonio Daniels, a Black male from Alexandria. The Alexandria Police Department received a call reporting the shooting at approximately 10:30 PM and dispatched officers to the 1200 block of Warshauer Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Daniels suffering from a gunshot wound.
