In the early hours of a Friday in the summer of 2025, the life of 23-year-old Lavar Steeles was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Southwest Baltimore. A Black male, Steeles was the victim of an incident that unfolded in the 1500 block of West Fayette Street.
