On a Sunday morning in Baton Rouge, Elissia Thomas, a 31-year-old woman, was found dead inside a home in the 12100 block of Gerald Drive after what police described as a domestic dispute that turned violent around 10 a.m. Homicide detectives identified Elissia Thomas, age 31, as the victim and announced they were searching for a suspect as the investigation began.
