In the predawn hours of a Sunday in Philadelphia, a life was tragically cut short. Rasheim Childs, a 48-year-old Black male, was on the 1700 block of West Ruscomb Street in the city's Logan neighborhood when an argument escalated into fatal violence. It was just before 3 a.m. on August 24, 2025, when gunfire erupted, striking Childs and another man.
