In the early morning hours of Friday, November 7, 2025, the life of 29-year-old Johnthan Wimbish was tragically cut short in Albany, Georgia. A hail of bullets ended his life in the 1400 block of East Residence Avenue, marking the 16th homicide in Dougherty County that year. Responding to reports of gunfire around 3:13 a.m., Albany Police officers discovered Wimbish unresponsive in the roadway.
