In the late afternoon of Tuesday, February 24, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a south Fort Worth apartment complex, leaving an 18-year-old male, Trevelle Boyer, fatally wounded. Fort Worth police were dispatched to the Mirabel Apartments in the 6300 block of Woodway Drive shortly before 4 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
