Sedell Barrios, a 19-year-old Black male from Harker Heights, was rushed to Seton Hospital in the dark hours of Sunday morning, March 22, 2026, after gunfire tore through what should have been an ordinary stretch of roadway. Police said officers were called to the hospital around 5:00 a.m. after two shooting victims arrived at the emergency room. Barrios was listed in critical condition and died soon after he got there.
