In the quiet neighborhood of Country Club Hills in north St. Louis County, the evening of Thursday, April 9, 2026, was shattered by violence. Responding to a call of a shooting just before 10:30 p.m., officers from the Country Club Hills Police Department arrived at the 5600 block of Gatesworth Avenue to a grim scene. Two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
