On the evening of March 31, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, 18-year-old Christopher Cooper-Patton was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of Carlton Avenue and Elaine Road. Emergency services responded to reports of shots fired and transported the young man to Mount Carmel East hospital in critical condition.
