Kaylon Rashaad Woods, a 38-year-old man from South Bend, was killed on Monday, April 27, 2026, after a shooting at The Highlands Apartments in Elkhart, Indiana. The call came in around 1:50 to 1:54 p.m., when dispatchers received reports of gunfire and injuries near Links Drive and Troon Court.
