Wykiel Provost, 17, was a Lafayette Parish teenager whose life was cut short after a shooting at the Ile Des Cannes Apartments on Sweetbriar Street in Scott, Louisiana. Online reports identified him as an Acadiana High School student who was also involved with the W.D. & Mary Baker Smith Career Center, a place where Lafayette Parish students pursue career and technical education alongside their regular high school studies.
