In the early morning hours of July 29, 2020, the life of 28-year-old Nadia Symone Andrews, an African American mother of two, was tragically cut short in Macon, Georgia. Nadia was sitting in her car at a gas station on Montpelier Avenue when she was shot multiple times. Emergency services transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:43 a.m. Her mother, Mia Andrews, rushed to the scene and was present as medical personnel tried to save her daughter's life.
