In the early evening of May 20, 2026, the life of 15-year-old Tyruan Dunn was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the Lobdell-Woodale area, near the intersection of Wooddale Boulevard and Lobwood Drive. First responders arrived at the scene to find the teenager on the roadway, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, Tyruan Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene.
