In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 8, 2026, the life of 27-year-old Jacob Gordon Klotz of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was tragically cut short. The night took a fatal turn at the Showgirl III nightclub on East Coliseum Boulevard, where a shooting broke out around 3:40 a.m. Fort Wayne police officers responded to calls of gunfire and discovered Klotz inside the establishment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
