In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 2, 2026, the life of 26-year-old Keenan Eugene Poe Jr. was tragically cut short on the east side of Indianapolis. A passerby, walking to a nearby gas station just after 6:30 a.m., discovered Poe's body lying between two residences in the 3400 block of North Emerson Avenue and immediately called 911.
