An act of kindness on a summer evening tragically ended in the death of Antwon Deshawn Herring, a 23-year-old man from Pontiac, Michigan. On July 25, 2026, Herring was at a neighborhood block party on Mariva Street with his fiancée, Adrianna Brown.
