On the late evening of Sunday, August 30, 2026, the life of 26-year-old Jeremiah Elijah Rojas was tragically cut short by gun violence in Salem, Oregon. At approximately 11:17 p.m., officers from the Salem Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of Taggart Drive and Wallace Road Northwest following reports of a shooting.
