A man if found fatally shot on a porch On July 8, 2017, Roger Smith Jr., aged 33, was found fatally shot on the porch of a residence located at 35 Oakdale Avenue in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred early in the morning, at approximately 5:20 a.m. Roger was pronounced dead at the scene due to the gunshot wound. The Akron Police Department launched an investigation, but as of now, the case remains unsolved.
