Malik Scott, a 16-year-old resident of Pittsburgh's Hill District, was tragically killed on July 4, 2009. He was found dead from a gunshot wound to his torso at the Robert E. Williams Memorial Park, located at the intersection of Milwaukee and Adelaide streets. At the time of the shooting, Malik was walking his dog in the park. The young teenager's death was a tragic event that left the community shaken, as no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide.
