On October 23, 2011, Adrian Gutierrez, a 36-year-old Houston resident, was found dead in a ditch on Barkley Street. The discovery occurred around 6 a.m. after residents reported hearing gunshots between 4:00 and 4:15 a.m. that morning. Gutierrez was later identified as the victim by the Houston Police Department.
