In a quiet apartment complex in the Brook Highland area of Shelby County, just off Highway 280, a beloved educator's life was tragically cut short. On a Sunday evening in November 2019, deputies were called to the 400 block of Meadow Drive to investigate a reported altercation. When they arrived, they were unable to make contact with anyone inside the residence.
