In the early evening of August 8, 2021, a dispute in Anniston, Alabama, turned fatal, claiming the life of 38-year-old Antonio D. Williams, a Black male. The events unfolded at approximately 7:00 PM at the Constantine Apartments located on Elm Street. Anniston Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a possible gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they discovered Williams lying on the ground in a parking lot area, suffering from a gunshot wound.
