In the early morning hours of a Wednesday in April 14, 2021, the life of 35-year-old Holly Jo Dunn was tragically cut short in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident unfolded just before 4 a.m. in the 100 block of 9th Avenue SW, where Dunn was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified Dunn as the victim of this fatal event. Following the incident, the Bessemer Police Department launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
