In the spring of 2021, the life of 29-year-old Keith 'Big Keith' Hardy, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the morning of May 12th, Hardy was at the Monarch Ridge apartments on Gallant Drive, sitting in his vehicle and engaged in a conversation with an individual in a silver SUV. The interaction took a fatal turn when a passenger from the SUV emerged and opened fire into Hardy's vehicle.
