In the summer of 2022, the life of 21-year-old Maleyk Kyre Bryant was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of Wednesday, July 27, 2022, Bryant and another man were wounded in a shooting that unfolded in the Ensley neighborhood.
