In the late spring of 2023, the life of Jasmine Nicole Whitson, a 29-year-old Black female from Anniston, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Monday, June 19th, Anniston patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 300 block of Elm Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ms. Whitson deceased, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
