On a Wednesday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 56-year-old Darryl Bowie, a Black male from the suburb of Fairfield, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded around 10:40 a.m. on November 15, 2023, in the 400 block of 5th Street Pratt. It was there that officers from the West Precinct responded to a call of a person shot.
