In the small community of Hollytree, Alabama, a long-standing feud between neighbors culminated in a tragic death. On the afternoon of November 4, 2024, deputies responded to a report of a shooting on a private drive off County Road 12. Upon arrival, they found 42-year-old Adam Douglas Cooner deceased. Cooner, a resident of Hollytree and a United States Marine Corps veteran, had been fatally shot.
