In the early moments of a July morning in Montgomery, Alabama, tragedy struck a young man named Hector Bamaca Yoc. At 21 years of age, his life was cut short by an act of violence that unfolded in the 1000 block of West South Boulevard. First responders were called to the scene just after 12:45 a.m. on July 18, 2024, where they found the male victim with a fatal gunshot wound.
