In the spring of 2024, the life of 21-year-old Darius Mykeal Bee, a Black male from Mobile, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the morning of April 28th, Bee was discovered deceased inside a vehicle on Hobbs Avenue in the city of Prichard. His death marked a grim milestone for the community, being the second of three separate homicides to occur within a tumultuous 24-hour period.
