John Donald Higby, Sr., an 89-year-old male, was killed on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in what police described as an apparent robbery. The incident occurred around 12:50 p.m. in the parking lot of the Dauphin Square Shopping Center located at 3170 Dauphin Street in Mobile, Alabama.
