In the late hours of a Sunday in November 2023, a baby shower in Marion Junction, Alabama, turned into a scene of violence that resulted in the death of Charles Edward Prewitt. On November 26th, an altercation escalated to gunfire, fatally wounding Prewitt and injuring another individual.
